Dans une prison argentine en 1983, sous la dictature militaire, Luis Molina, un coiffeur gay, purge une peine de huit ans de prison pour avoir prétendument corrompu un mineur. Pour échapper aux horreurs de son emprisonnement, Molina imagine des films mettant en vedette une actrice classique du cinéma, Ingrid Luna, notamment le rôle de la femme araignée, qui tue sa proie dun baiser. La vie de Molina bascule lorsquun marxiste, Valentin Arregui Paz, est amené dans sa cellule, et que les deux forment un lien improbable.
